As we are just starting to get this up and going, we are not at the starting line yet...at least in our minds. Within the next 30 days (at most depending on external circumstances) we will have: Licenses, bonds, insurance (the big three needs to cover us and you),
As it is for any business with letters for a name, VC stands for something. Our names are Steven Venable and Brandon Chester. And JOAT is really J.O.A.T. but who wants to remember to add all the dots? It stands for Jack-Of-All-Trades. As the phrase goes: Jack of all trades is a master of none, but often better than a master of one. And between the two of us, we have quite a few skills under our belts.
Flooring installs for hard surface, Paneling and trim installs, Door and Window installs, Paint, Lawn care, Fencing, Decks, Concrete, Dirt work (including heavy machinery such as mini excavator, backhoe, skidsteer, etc.), Tree trimming, Faucet repairs, Toilet installs, possible custom repairs to wood and metal furniture, Welding, and various other things we forget to add here. With our dump trailer loads of dirt or rock can be delivered and haul away is also available including debris from remodels or other projects.
At this time, there are various tasks we cannot do. These have requirements we have not met yet but once we do, we will be more than happy to do. Electrical, Plumbing (we can do quick repairs on outgoing water pipe but not incoming water or any gas fixtures), building an add-on or full gut remodels. When it comes down to it, there are permits and licenses required to do many things. And Insurance to protect us from the what ifs. We don't hide the fact that there are things we can't do, but they are a future possibility. So, stay tuned!!
